lovely day

this lovely day started with a few ladybugs at our back door (some were just shells, RIP) Lucas was so happy to see them, he ran to get his "baby dump truck" tossed them in the back and rode them around the kitchen. He is so smart that he figured out if he flipped the ladybug onto its back they wouldn't be able to fly away, so that's what he did, kept them on their backs to keep them around! sorry ladies
We then got dressed and dumped our wormery back into the veggie garden (wish I had photos of Lucas and his worms, he really digs em!) and we worked in the veggie garden, looking for more worms and prepping the soil with our new collection of Tonka trucks from the Sal-y V, what a steal!
